Alana showing off the seahorse she made with her playdough
We went to Garfield Park Conservatory on Saturday to introduce Alexander to the gardens. Alana has been there several times and always has lots of fun
Daddy doing some ear nibbling on the baby
Oooooh, rocks...
This plant was so weird. It felt AND looked just like hair.
Busy discovering
Following in the footsteps of Alana when she was a baby, Alexander has been turning orange lately due to his huge love of orange and yellow veggies!
Alana's first attempt at beads. She made these bracelets by choosing and stringing the beads all by herself. Next stop, the craft store! We can add this activity to our rainy day repertoire of Playdough, coloring, flashcards, and now jewelry making.
Birthday boy---almost walking completely on his own!
At Matt's firm's company picnic
Children getting their faces painted. This little girl reminds me a lot of an older version of Alana
Alana said she wanted a rainbow with a heart, so that's what she got!
Playing beanbags with a little 4 year old boy
Hanging out in his high chair
Xander mastered the art of crawling and has moved on to standing. In fact he'd much rather stand rather than crawl. Every time he crawls he complains and then promptly finds something or someone to pull up on.
Pretty soon he'll be able to take baths with his big sister
