Millenium Park

On Saturday we took the El downtown and walked, walked, walked. We also visited Millenium Park. A good time was had by all. Alexander was wearing a little sailor outfit that was actually Alana's, but I always thought it looked too masculine for her. It was perfect on him, albeit a bit short. Alana and Matt by the skyline and the water wall

Xander practicing his "supermodel pout" Tyra Banks would be proud

Chicago has a thing for weird, pointless art and sculpture. This thing was just bizarre. Who knows what it was supposed to be.

Alana sliding down some of the granite sculptures at the Museum of Modern Art. Everyone was getting a kick out of her because she kept sliding down and saying "Weeee!"

Alana made a little friend. She reminded me a lot of a little friend I had growing up with bright red hair, Emily

My munchkin

I do try to take pictures of Alexander, but he always manages to run over to me when I'm trying to take one and grab the camera before I can click the button.

Videos of Trick or Treating, Alana/Alexander "sharing" & Alexander's Naming Ceremony

I was reminded that I never posted Alexander's naming ceremony video from last year when we were in NYC. He was almost 3 mos. old here. How time flies!

"I Loooove my Brudda"/Halloween

For about a month now Alexander has been walking around holding on to things, aka cruising. The result is that Alana seems to like him much more now and they've started playing more together. In fact she made up a song to sing to him when he is fussy. "I looooove my brudda, I loooove my Xan Man. La la la..."

This year Halloween was freeeeezing cold. Alana wore 3 shirts, 2 pairs of tights, a sweater, a pair of pants and a winter jacket under her costume. She could barely walk up the steps to people's front doors to say "trick or treat". They all had fun nonetheless and Xander slept through most of it in the stroller.
