They also had a toy train exhibit. They have all the major cities with trains that move along. It was amazing! Here is a train going through the mountains in the Western part of the U.S.

Halloween

This year the kids decided to be "My Little Pony" and Spiderman for Halloween. Alana has been obsessed with My Little Pony since before she turned 3 and Alexander has recently become obsessed with superheroes. He watches the cartoons every day, and his favorites are Spiderman and His Friends (the 60's version with Firestar and Ice Man) and Wolverine and the X-Men. He even pretends to put his costume and "transform" from Peter Parker into Spiderman. Usually this is during a chase/fight with his sister. After his transformation he starts his attack, which is just great. Thankfully Alana is still a little bigger than him and she seems to enjoy the horseplay.

The businesses in downtown Naperville also had a trick or treat the day before Halloween. I think that part was the most fun because it had the most children and even a lot of the parents (and even pets) dressed up.

Alexander was so excited. He had to examine each single piece of candy he was given and tell us about it.

Alana "cooking" her favorite treat. Saltines and cream cheese sandwiches.

Us at our annual trip to Goebbert's Pumpkin Farm. We stayed about 30 minutes. The kids were so miserable due to the 84 degree heat wave!
