End of Year Brownies

 This year I was a co-leader of Alana's Brownie Troop. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun! Today is the end of year celebration, and I was up late last night putting them together to give to each girl as a memento of their year together! As you can see from the photo below, they had a great time on the scavenger hunt in downtown Naperville. We split into three groups (this was my group) and Alexander even got to join in on the fun. Afterwards, all the groups got to feed doggy treats to the Naperville doggies taking their walks (with the owner's permission of course!). We then all met up at Giordono's for a pizza party and to celebrate all the birthdays with some yummy cupcakes!

So this year was the first year Alana had hip hop class. She loved it and informed me that she wants to take 4 dance classes next year: jazz, ballet,  tap and hip-hop. That seems like a lot but we'll see! She had lots of fun at the recital and of course the costumes were the best part. Alexander was a trooper during the whole performance which lasted about 2 hours with all of the dances.
