Birthday Party

This Sunday we went to a friend from preschool's 3rd birthday, which was held at Gymboree. I used to take Alana to the Gymboree in Seattle when she was a baby, and I forgot how much fun the little ones have there. Alana and Alexander had a blast! Alexander was true to form and, as he does not know he's a baby, was doing everything the big kids were doing. He is very very independant and loves adventure. Heaven forbid you try to help him do anything---he gets really mad. Alana had a wonderful time, and I think we may look into having her 4th birthday there.

A few photos of our new house in Naperville. It's a work in progress. We still need to hang up window treatments, put down our rug, and get a kitchen set. We really love our new place. The kids are really happy here and there seem to be a lot of little chilren in the neighborhood. The best thing is the location. We walked to downtown Naperville today and it only took 20 minutes. They have a riverwalk with tons of restaurants, bookstores, antique shops, the train station, and a wonderful childrens museum where the kids had a blast. My commute time has been cut in half and Matt's is a bit less than it was before as well.
