Easter Weekend

Total joy. Alana is just like sunlight whenever she enters the room.

On Easter Sunday, we went to downtown Naperville. Alana spotted a park when we were driving, so of course we just had to pull over so they could play!

Xander is a VERY adventurous baby. He always wants to try new things and of course he insists on doing everything himself. Right after this photo was taken he went down the slide by himself for the first time, and now that's all he wants to do! His other newest thing is wrestling. He tackles and wrestles everyone and everything: The cats, Alana, his friends, his cousin, and today his teacher told me that he was tackling and wrestling her! She said right before he did it he let out a growl. Yup, that's how you know what's coming.

Easter Bunny loot. She even got a Princess kitty. How do I know it is a princess kitty? Because it has a crown:) Her teacher remarked that Alana and the kitty have the same eyes.

We went kite flying on Saturday which I haven't done since I was a kid. Since we bought a kite for her friend's birthday, we got Alana one, too and we decided to test it out with all of Matt's family there as well. They all bought kites, too. Of course Alana had to have the dragon kite, after her favorite Little Einsteins Episode "Dragon Kite".
